The Challenge:
To handle growth, new products, compliance, and reporting requirements, the client needed to reengineer and improve their business and financial processes and systems. The client needed to also improve their compliance capabilities.
The Solution:
The HBS Consulting engagement team used its business and technical expertise to analyze and develop optimized processes and systems for a series of projects. Lead multi-disciplinary project teams to do the following:
- Develop a through understanding of the client’s current and future requirements
- Analyze client’s current business and financial processes, systems, and reporting methodologies
- Create a detailed requirements document that also captured the “As Is” business process, people, and systems state
- Evaluate business and financial reports and develop methods for achieving optimization, automation, and process change
- Analyze client’s current and future regulatory compliance requirements
- Assist and advise in the development of processes, systems, and tools to increase compliance capabilities
- Develop a set of recommendations (process, organization, people, systems) and an action plan for meeting the client’s objectives |
